What phone do I need?
You will need an Android phone with NFC enabled such as Samsung S23, A12. For Apple you will need an iPhone running iOS 16.4 or higher. The model can be an iPhone XS or later.
Are there any additional costs?
Contactless Giving is included as part of your iKnow Charity service. There are standard transaction fees applied to the donation but iKnow Charity does not charge a separate platform fee.
Do I need an iKnow Charity account to give?
To use the iKnow Charity Giving App, your charity needs to have an active iKnow Charity subscription. However visitors can give to your charity by simply tapping against your phone with our Giving App installed. If you do not use iKnow Charity then you can register for a free 14 day trial.
* Up to 1 active device can be used per account without any additional cost representing a big cost saving against providers where there is a monthly charge. If you need more than 1 Contactless device then additional active devices are just £3.50 per month. Active devices are devices that have processed a donation during the month.
